Amy is an Innovation and Best Practice Intern.
She is currently pursuing her PhD in Public Health at the University of Montana. She spent the first decade of her career as a dental hygienist in the United States and pursued her B.S. and M.S. in Human Nutrition through the University of Alabama.
Through her career in clinical dentistry and her education in nutrition, she quickly realized how inaccessible adequate nutrition and oral health care are to billions of individuals across the globe. These disparities drove Amy to pursue the field of global health with the goal to use research to drive innovative approaches that will improve the health of vulnerable populations around the world.
