Sharmila Onta

Sharmila Onta is a Director of Adara Development (Nepal).

Sharmila is a social worker and teacher. She holds master’s degree in Education from Tribhuwan University. In her career she has worked with many social justice organisations such as Red Cross and South-South Solidarity. She has also been affiliated with many other women’s organisations in Nepal.

She is a women rights activist who believes in equal economic, social, civil and political rights of women.
